The course takes place over two full days, generally at weekends. Start times are 8.30 AM with a finish time of approximately 6PM.

The REC 3 course is a progressive program, where each session builds upon the earlier ones. New scenarios are introduced regularly to evaluate techniques across a range of emergencies, environmental conditions, illnesses, injuries, and rescue scenarios. The REC 3 course, with its comprehensive and practical approach, equips you to manage medical emergencies confidently in a wilderness or remote environment.
